M00nLight MeLody: pL@y-->

Seeing as most of my characters and storyline seem to have developed throughout their story I figured I would finally show you all the songs that inspired me to write as I went along. The way it's organized is kinna like an anime soundtrack >.< style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic; color: rgb(102, 0, 0);">PL@y:

  • "Bring Me to Life/Going Under/Taking Over Me/Hello"-Evanescence: The songs I used for Alice's dreams. Especially in the first chapter.
  • Linkin Park: Ehh, too many songs to mention but Stephenie was right. This band rocks.
  • "Wild Horses"- Natasha Bedingfield: The song has a sad sorta sweet melody that reminds me of how I think about Jasper sometimes. Always hoping and wishing to love freely.
  • "Silent Movie"-Natasha Bedingfield: The kind of relationship that Alice had with Jasper at first. It's from her POV.
  • "Piece of Me"-Natasha Bedingfield (Natasha's: Alice/Jasper sort of song. But i feel like it's more from Alice's side.
  • "In Your World/Stockhold Syndrome"-Muse: These are the ones that I listened to while I was writing the chapter called Dark and Light. It's usually the fast-beat ones that really motivate us to write faster and more freely, I think. Plus the hard parts of the songs make you write harder too.
  • "Lacrymosa"-Evanescence: This is the song that I listened to over and over again when I was imagining the spell that Adrian kinna wove over Alice when she almost kissed him and then was caught by Alice. It has a kinna eerie helpessness to it that makes me think of the person that Adrian has become. He's a mysterious character that we don't know a lot about and are falling under the spell of.
  • "Weight of the World"-Evanescence: I guess I can say with certainty that this is Maria's song. No doubt about it. I've imagined her to be a sort of very dark and sexy character that makes Alice look very much like a little girl. Maria is a woman. And her seductiveness makes her seem both ancient (before Jasper, remember?) and powerful. When I was listening to this song, I was imagining her sauntering forward as she talked to Alice, all curves, hips swaying seductively, smug smile, her ruby eyes flashing. The question is, 'Is she the main villain of our story?'
  • "Lithium"-Evanescence: There's not really a character for this song. The main thing is is that sometimes when we feel strongly about something (or someone) it's kinna like lithium. We just can't seem to let go.
